Many Healings Occurred at The Bethel Mission Team Event

A Bethel Mission Team visited Powerhouse on Thursday 27 March. They called out many words of knowledge's for healing that God gave them. Instantaneous healing took place; lots of joy was restored in people and many healed from depression! 

Jesus healed people from all sorts of things - back and necks got healed, a leg grew out, pain left people's bodies and so much more! 

One man whose back was healed immediately, at the end of the night said he's back is so straight now he could even make a rugby comeback! Hallelujah Jesus! God is good!

Knees and Legs Healed in a Dream!

I had a dream and in my dream I was praying for a friend. His knees and legs were in great pain and I saw how Satan was attacking him on those areas because he is a runner for God in the spiritual realm. He got completely healed in that dream. The evening before I had the dream, at 23:00, he said that he had intense pain. That night I had the dream. The next morning I asked him if he still had any pain. He then confirmed that he had no pain! He is completely healed praise Jesus! ‪‎God‬ uses you how he pleases, at any time and he still does miracles all the time!

This is my story of how I found my way to come to know God more through this church:

Well it all started with an email that was sent to me by one of my Mom’s friends, she mistakenly threw me in the “To” list. It was an email about dancing in the “David dance” group for Pentecostal day at Powerhouse church.  I replied to find out why she invited me and she said; “Well it was a mistake, you can just ignore the mail.” I then said “I like dancing so when is it? Maybe I can see if I can join you guys.”

With no intention to have fun or even learn a few things, I joined in on their practice for the dance on Thursday nights and there I had the privilege to meet a girl named Nicola Griesel, she is much older than me, but we shared our stories with each other and learning about her walk with God amazed me. So I continued to go every Thursday for the weeks to come just to hear more about her walk and her studies. She studied through powerhouse ministries, so I became hungry for more of what she experienced there. As we approached the big day of the dance I started to ask myself what was it that propelled me to come to these classes each and every week.

I had a big decision and question laying dormant in my soul and in my heart, because in my heart I knew that I was hungry for more of God, but  I wanted to know which way to go... So that very Friday night before the dance I prayed a prayer asking what and how do I get to my true purpose? I learned that night more about the bible school, and even met the Pastor of Powerhouse. Thus I was prompted in my heart to learn more of God’s word. I then asked God to show me if He wanted me to study there or not.

The next morning I went to work as normal and with a shock to my eyes I saw the pastor of Powerhouse, Dr Francois, he was standing in the foyer of the company I was working at. When I went in through the door I thought this can’t be, is he here to see me? Then he stood up to great me and all of a sudden I felt this warm presence within me. Then the CEO of the company came around the corner and greeted him like a very good friend with a hug and continued on with him towards his office. Turns out they are really close friends and once a week they get together to pray for the company and people working there. That is where I knew I had to study ministry through Powerhouse ministries.

Exactly What I Asked For!

I had to sell my previous car as it was getting older and had potential problems. The car was then sold on the very same day I put it up for sale. To be able to buy a better car with more durability I had to also sell my motorcycle which was sold on the Tuesday after the Sunday that my car was sold. 

The day I put my car and bike up for sale, I saw a convertible sports car. I considered getting that car, but I saw that the km was too high and I then decided to rather not buy it. 

For the rest of the week and the next I had to drive with my parent’s car making petrol a lot more expensive. I had it in my heart to at least have a new car by the Thursday so I could be driving my own car by the Friday. I then asked the Lord for a car that will be the exact price as that which I got for my car and motorcycle together. I also asked the Lord if I could get a car that isn't a dark colour and I asked for a car under 50 000 km.

We then found a black Opel Tigra at a dealer in Cape town with 100 000 km. It was a stunning car! I loved it and really considered it! But despite the dark colour and the km, the boot was damaged which would cost an extra R10 000 to repair and there was constantly some hindrance that I could not yet get the car. 

The Wednesday evening I prayed and said to the Lord that I wanted a  car by Thursday. A silver one, under 50 000 km and it being a convertible. This was my hearts desire and I was quite specific with the Lord, and I said to Him that I really loved the Opel Tigra. But if all that is not His will for me then that is fine fine with me. 

The next day by lunch time my dad phoned and asked if he could pick me up after work as he wanted to go for coffee. As he came to pick me up we drove to this house and I couldn't understand what was happening. And the next moment there stood a silver Opel Tigra in front of the house.

As I went to take a look I found it had 44 000 km on the clock. 

My dad found the car on Gumtree that morning (He never goes on Gumtree). He went to look at the car in his lunch time and everything was perfect! It had all my my requirements! There was nothing wrong with it and was in perfect condition! The price was exactly the same as I got for my car and motorcycle. 

God gave me exactly what I asked for on the exact day I wanted it! I'm so thankful for this gift from God. It's a stunning car!

My dad was quite stunned that one person can get a fancy car when they don't even need it. Then right after I got the car I heard about a colleague’s daughter who wanted to go to her matric ball with the exact car I just got. So I offered to take her to the matric ball. She didn't have the money to hire a car for the ball but God could then use me to give her, her heart’s desire. 

I went home and could tell my dad how God blesses one person to then bless another!

I'm so thankful for this amazing blessing! Thank You Father God!

Delft Outreach - 22 February 2014

Jesus Healed Her Uterus – Delft Outreach

At the first house we visited, the mother of the house had pain as a result of problems with her uterus.  We prayed for her and I literally felt her uterus move inside her body as my hand was on her abdomen.  After we prayed, all pain was gone and she was healed!  A daughter in the same house had pain in her right arm as a result of damaged nerves.  We prayed for her too and after praying, she had no more pain!  Praise Jesus!

Testifying Opened The Door – Delft Outreach

In Delft after seeing our first miracle for the day, we saw two women sitting under a tree outside their house and we felt that we should ask them whether they needed prayer. At first, they refused but then I shared the testimonies of the healings that God had just performed. The testimonies opened the door and they invited us into the yard and 3 women lined up for prayer. One of the women didn't know Jesus yet but was open for prayer and we just loved on her. When we were about to leave, I gave her a hug, and she hugged me for the longest time - she wouldn't let go!  We are trusting Jesus for her salvation because we know that she was moved that day!

Baptism in The Holy Spirit - Delft Outreach

In the streets of Delft on the day of the outreach, a man passed us for the second time, so we stopped and started talking to him.  Again, sharing testimonies of the healings that God had just performed, opened a door and he invited us to his house.  We prayed with him for a job and was able to speak into his destiny and the plans that the Father has for his life.  We also prayed for his baptism in the Holy Spirit and he experienced God's presence! Thank you Holy Spirit!

Pain Left Her Body - Delft Outreach

At a house we visited, the lady there had had stomach pains for weeks, and suffered from something resembling gastric rupture. We prayed for her and pain left her body immediately and she was healed! While praying a blessing over her, I got a word of knowledge - my throat started to feel scratchy as if I had inhaled smoke, I could almost taste it.  So I asked her whether she smoked, she replied yes, and I asked whether she would like to stop.  She replied yes and therefore we prayed for her deliverance!  Praise the Lord!

Power In Testimony - Delft Outreach

At two of the houses where we visited on Saturday 22 February, Eugene, one of our other team members had testimonies of where God healed him or gave a breakthrough in the areas where the people from the house had a need.  He shared the testimony of how God came through for him and thus, prophesied into their circumstances. There is amazing power in testimony!!

Our Baby is Alive!!!

At 23 weeks we saw that our baby wasn't really growing and the doctor didn't have much hope. On 26 weeks they said they'll give the baby a chance. Last week Wednesday I went into the hospital and was monitored daily. But on Tuesday they had to do an emergency C section. Our baby is alive! His heart and everything has developed perfectly. It is through the Lords grace that we have come this far. All the glory to God!

As summer approached, I started asking God for a holiday during December - I love December holidays but accommodation is normally fully booked way in advance and I hadn't made such plans for 2013 as it was not financially feasible.  On 6 December, a friend phoned me and blessed me with a weeks luxury accommodation in the Plettenberg Bay area.  It was an answer to prayer and I just praise God for His goodness and for blessing me with a heart's desire.  The trip was incredibly blessed in many ways and I am just so thankful to have a Father that not only provides but exceeds all expectations!  The weather forecast included 2 days of rain and generally when rain is forecasted for that area, it rains.  It rained on the Tuesday and I prayed pretty fervently for sunny, beach weather for the Wednesday (a week at the beach can become very short if the weather isn't great!) and sure enough, when morning broke on Wednesday, it was blue skies with perfect beach weather!  Things that are important to me, are important to Him!  What an amazing Father we have!!

I am so happy that God opened this door for me. I started working here at Powerhouse Church and things just started getting better and better! God is busy with great things in my household! We never had money and we never had any food. The enemy took everything from us, but when I started working here God started to put things back into place for me! I am so happy to be a part of Powerhouse! I praise the Lord for Pastor Francois and also everyone who prayed for me and supported me through the struggles I endured. There is love in this house! Every day as I am working I encounter the love of the Powerhouse people.  Pastor Francois displayed to me amazing Fatherly love, real love! I am thankful for God's work!

God In The Detail

Yesterday morning I prayed specifically that God would help with getting information from a client that I had been struggling to get information from for 2 weeks in order for us to complete some work they had contracted us to do.  We can only bill them once the work is complete therefore delays on their side results in cash flow implications on our side. Within an hour of reminding the client yesterday she sent the information.  What is important to me, is important to Him - even with something as small as this, He wants to and will help if we ask Him!

A few weeks ago I was overwhelmed by the constant struggles of life and could barely handle it anymore. I knew that I had to find peace in and with God, but I did not know how to get it or even how to ask Him for it. Obtaining peace felt like effort. 

Then one day I saw this music video. It gave me words for the struggles inside that seemed indescribable. Realising that no matter the form my circumstances take, that these words describe what it really comes down to. Why life could get just too difficult sometimes. 

I repeated this song over and over.Sometimes engaging wholeheartedly, other times just letting it play. A few days later I realised that I was feeling a whole lot better! Not immediately realising that the song unlocked my freedom... 

Fear and worry left me. God did the work within me. I could not form contentment within myself, but He did it for me. I had no strength. But He gave me peace! Without being aware that He is working in my heart, He delivered me! I honestly feel like God used these words to change my life!

God Provided In Excess

I went to tygervalley two weeks ago to buy myself a new wallet. As me being the worlds most organized person, I somehow lost my wallet with all the cards, money and other financial stuff inside. Upon arrival I visited the most expensive luggage store first, knowing I would not be prepared to pay that much for essentially a money holder. I just browsed to see different styles and features. To my greatest surprise between all the designer names like Polo, Armani and Gucci a wallet caught my eye. EXACTLY what I was looking for, I braced myself and with one eye shut I glanced at the price. BOOM!! Within my budget!!
I was overjoyed. One last time I checked the wallet for bad stitching or a tear in the leather, not finding anything, I happily purchased the wallet and with a broad smile on my face I walked towards my car. Once I reached the car I was so chuffed with my bargain that I just HAD to have a quick peak at it before I drove home. Upon closer inspection I see that there is a R100 note in the back of the wallet. Needless to say I was SHOCKED! This is a daylight miracle! I am 100% sure that the wallet was completely empty when I bought it! Nonetheless God comes and He just does something so supernatural. Such great reassurance that He will always provide in excess!

Declaring Healing

I went on an outreach to Nelspruit with the Powerteam students in 2012.  We were divided into two teams and were sent to different locations. The one day our team did do door to door visits in a village called Backdoor. Our Team leader who knew the village and the people took us to a woman who had a swollen ankle and could not walk. I went on my knees to place my hands on her swollen ankle. Overcome with compassion my husband and I prayed for the woman. Then Dean said: “Tomorrow morning your ankle will be healed.” But I was thinking: “Now, this is what you don’t say when you pray for healing.” I wasn't too sure...

At the end of the next day, the other team members who had visited the area that day, called out to me and my husband. Screaming with excitement, they told us that the woman who we prayed for come running to them that morning, telling them that her ankle is completely healed! The swelling was gone and she could walk again!

Jesus, please forgive my unbelief! Nothing is impossible with God!!!

Power of Prophecy

On Friday night at Love Revolution, we did an activity whereby we asked God for His thoughts about the people there which we wrote down anonymously - a simple prophetic activity (because the prophetic can be pretty daunting sometimes!).  The 'thoughts' that I received were so significant and in line with what God has been speaking to me, confirmation or another piece of the puzzle which lead to revelation and I was just so encouraged!  It was a simple exercise to ask Holy Spirit what He wanted to say, with child-like faith, even if it was a one-liner and He responded to us and blessed us!

Knee Healed Immediately

One morning after resting at the top of Leeukop and taking the climb back down again, I heard something crack in my knee. I felt terrible pain! Although it was hurting badly I tried to carry on walking to not stop the string of people behind us. As my husband and I were walking right in front, I explained to him from behind what just happened. While I was still talking, he just stretched out his hand behind him towards my knee. Immediately the pain was completely gone! Jesus came to my rescue just then and there and took away the pain!

About 2 weeks ago I went to the neighbourhood Seven Eleven.  One of the cashiers was on crutches and I asked what had happened - she had sprained her ankle.  My first thought was to pray for healing but there was another customer waiting in line so I chickened out.  I went to do some other errands and on the way home, I thought, I really should go and pray for her.  So I stopped at the Seven Eleven, walked in (there were no other customers at the time - thank you Jesus!) and asked Cindy if I could pray for her.  She agreed.  I prayed a very simple prayer and asked her whether we could take the ankle brace that she had been wearing off to see if there was any difference.  There was an improvement but still some discomfort.  So I prayed again.  As I prayed I felt the presence of God and when I asked Cindy if she had felt something, she had felt heat at the back of her ankle.  I asked her if she would mind getting up and trying walking without the crutches and she did and she said that it felt a whole lot better than before!  Thank you Jesus!!!  I went back the next day and Cindy was serving customers, without the brace and off her crutches saying that there had been a great improvement in her ankle and she didn't experience discomfort anymore!  Praise God!!

Client Healed At Work

In 2013 I was in my office working and a client of mine came in walking with crutches and a cast around his right ankle. Just before he left I nervously called him aside and asked what happened to his foot. He explained to me that a week ago he was jogging and somehow broke a bone in his right ankle.  Seeing that he is a Muslim I said to him I would like to pray for him, but I don’t want to push Jesus on him. I just want to see him healed because I know Jesus wants to heal him. 

He agreed that I can pray for him and was very open to receive prayer from me as a Christian. I then gently put my hands on his ankle, on the cast and prayed for him in Jesus’ Name.  I then stood there quietly holding my hands on the cast for a few seconds longer. When I looked at him he had a small positive grin on his face. I asked him if he experienced anything. He then said it was very strange because my hand was on the outside of the cast but on the inside he felt something.  “It was like electricity”.

I asked him if we could check out his ankle to see if the pain has left. He then gently moved his foot up and down and he said:  “Yes, it’s healed! All the pain is gone!”  I said okay, let’s test it. “Take of the cast and do what you couldn’t do before.” He took of the cast and started walking without it. He was standing on his toes, up and down, bending his ankle. There was no pain!  He was completely healed!  The doctor said he must have the cast on for six weeks but he only wore it for one week and then Jesus healed him completely. That day he walked out a very happy man. Until today he did not need to put it on again. He can now run comfortably!

Powerhouse is a fantastic platform where the Kingdom of God is established through different kingdom minded ministries. It is a platform for kingdom minded people and businesses to operate from. A body of believers coming together to do His work. Great and wonderful things are coming in 2014! 

God Provides!!

This passing holiday some family members and I stopped at a petrol station in a small town. On the wall there was poster stating: "Expect a miracle from God today." 

I believed and I expected!

We went back to the holiday home and I shared what I saw with my husband.

Later that day I received a message from the bank of a payment made to my bank account!

I am still overwhelmed by the Lord's faithfulness! He provides in all our needs!

A great thank you to the obedient people who blessed us! 

Woman Gets Saved In Hospital

“About six months ago I got the impression that God is telling me to talk to a certain woman about Jesus, NOW. I immediately did so. I spoke as the Holy Spirit lead me and I could sense that she is listening. 

Six months later as I walked out of the operating theatre I saw her approaching in the hallway. With the biggest smile on her face she stopped me and asked: “Nurse, can you still remember what you told me that day.” I immediately knew what she meant. 

With her face shining with joy she said to me: “Nurse, I made a commitment last night.” 

I was overjoyed, caught her around the neck and hugged her as  we cried together. God is faithful! We only need to be obedient. He does the work. All the glory to God!”
